Clipping on the back, November 7, 1948-- "A 1918 launching at the Moore shipyards was a blaring event. Here the band was playing at the launching of the s.S. Kamesit. Frank Steinbacher, 880 35th Street, who furnished the picture, is in its center, proudly gripping the baton." Photo shows the band sitting in chairs with their instruments. Steinbached is sitting in the middle. On the far right are two women sitting next to two men in military uniforms. Some sort of identification was at the bottom of the photo on the front but is has been obliterated by the white crop marks made by the Tribune.
