Tribune caption on the back, Dec. 5, 1946-- "Passersby are shown going to the aid of an unidentified woman who fainted near the 16th Street entrance to Kahn's store during the AFL general strike here.- Tribune photo." Photo shows a woman wearing a dark coat sitting on a step next to a building. She is resting her head in her hand. Three women are leaning over her. The woman closest to the building is blocked by the woman standing next to her who is wearing a checkered coat with a fur collar. Another woman standing at the back of the woman who fainted is wearing trousers and a leather jacket and a cap with a medal on it- she might be either a police officer, with the Key System or possibly in the WACS or WAVES.
