Original envelope read, "Oakland. 16th street." Negative shows a street scene in downtown Oakland. On the right side of the street are several businesses including Katich's Restaurant. On the left side of the street is Bay City Express & Transfer Co. At the end of the street is the building next to Kahn's which is under construction. On the street is a car and a horse and buggy parked at the curb.
