This was one of a group of photos taken in the aftermath of the 1989 Earthquake that won a Pulitzer Prize. The photo shows 3 rescue workers on top of the collapsed Cypress Structure in Oakland lowering an injured victim to the ground with the help of a crane. Only the lower portion of the person on the gurney can be seen being lowered, the front half is blocked by a fallen cement beam and a tree.
