This was one of the photographers who helped the Oakland Tribune win a Pulitzer Prize for its coverage of the 1989 Earthquake disaster. Clipping on the back, "Dorothy Lee of Piedmont prays for earthquake victims at memorial." This photo shows a group of people, possibly in a church. In the center of the photo is an Asian-American woman with her head tilted back and her arms raised in the air, she looks to be praying or crying.
