One of the photo taken by Doc Rogers in the aftermath of the 1906 Earthquake in San Francisco. [We do not have his original negatives.] Photo shows the first newspapers coming off the presses at the Oakland Tribune reporting on the Earthquake. The headline reads "20,000 Flee Quake Ruins." A man is leaning down to pick up one of the fresh newspapers.
