Clipping on the back, "Apr. 27, 1952--Prohibition era-Oakland's strong men wept!" Photo shows a man wearing a hat, eyeglasses, a shirt and tie with a vest and trousers. A pocket watch is suspended from his vest and sleeve bands on his arms. A policeman's badge is clipped to his vest. He is leaning over a barrel with a hole in the side from which liquor is pouring out. The man is holding a hammer or another object to punch the hole in the barrel. Standing behind the man is a little boy wearing overalls and watching the action. Also in the background are two other men watching.
