Photo shows the exterior of the H.C. Capwell store on the corner of Broadway and 20th in downtown Oakland. Can see part of the bridal window displays, the windows further down either side of the store have too much reflection to see what is displayed in those windows. A triangular sign on the roof says "The H.C. Capwell Company." Modern steet lights line the sidewalks and a signal light is on the corner with a one-way sign posted above it. What appears to be a BART entrance is right in front of the store. At the bottom of the photo "Capwell's Downtown" is printed on another strip of cardboard and mounted on top of the photo.
