Trowel, ceremonial, silver metal with a wood handle. It is engraved with the following: "Mayor Wm. J. McCracken Occasion Corner Stone Laying Woodminster Memorial Amphitheater Oakland, Calif. May 17th 1940". It also has on it a raised Seal of the City of Oakland.
