The cups and saucers in this collection come from Della's Tea Cup Cafe, 7309 MacArthur Boulevard, Oakland, which was established in February, 1967. The cafe is noted for, and decorated with, a very large collection of tea cups. Some of the cups were purchased by the owner, others were presented to her as gifts, while still others were made for her. A: Cup, with two handles, probably for soup. All three pieces are marked; "A" and "C" marked - Limoges, France, Haviland & Co. Decorated with a band of pink rand rose colored roses on the inside and the outside, from the metallic gold rim, down. B: Lid, matches the materials of the other pieces and is decorated on the top only. Ring of roses, handle on top is made to look like a ribbon. C: Saucer matches with a ring of roses around the edge, as well as two small rosed (different colors) in the center. Metallic gold rim
