Handwritten in pencil on the back of the photo, "463 10th St. 1896 Al Wood 1st man from left with coat and derby." Photo shows a group of men posing on the sidewalk in front of a large sign hanging over a store front that says "Al Wood House & Sign Painting." A wagon loaded with ropes and buckets is parked near the men and several ladders are on the ground.
