Handwritten on the back of the print, "Engine that took Pres. McKinley from Oakland to Berkeley (about 1901) Engine #1292, Jerry Sullivan, engineer. J.P. Roach Collection, 1028 59th St., Oakland." Photo shows a train engine and coal car behind it decorated with flowers and ribbons. Standing on the step leading up to the engine is Mr. Sullivan. In the background are several buildings, one of which has a sign for H.B. Penney Real Estate."
