The Open Valve, October-November, 1951
"The Open Valve" was an industrial magazine distributed to the workers of the Nordstrom Valve Division of Rockwell Manufacturing Co., Oakland, California. Issues frequently had article about the employees and various celebrations. In this issue a farewell is noted with a photograph. The cover of this issue as well as the back cover, shows people with fish. There's a "Rockwell Report" from W. F. Rockwell, Jr., President of Rockwell Manufacturing Company. The feature article is on "Fishing" There's an article on an employee, Leonard Dailey. The inside back cover is full of photographs of the Community Chest drive.
