In the foreground is the sitting room with a fireplace against the left wall and a writing desk and chair near a window on the right side of the room. A couple of chairs are spaced here and there. A chandelier hangs from the ceiling and the wide molding at the ceiling is accented with a flower and ivy pattern. This room and the bed room are connected by an archway with drapes hanging in the arch. Through the arch can be seen an elaborate bed and several chairs in the bedroom.
