Attributed by Mr. Sidney Ashkenazie of Ashkenazie & Co., 1983: " Pair of standing jadeite table screens with six panels. Each panel is divided into three sections with gold calligraphy incised in a superb manner. On middle area of each section the artisan has rendered low relief carving of landscape scenes. The colour is a deep apple green extending to an emerald green.  The jade is of a highly translucent manner.  The jade in these screens is of jewelry quality and difficult to find on market today. Surrounding the jade is a fitted rosewood frame. Chinese workmanship. Late 19th century."
