Small tray from the Hotel Oakland. The edges are trimed with gold and the side of the tray is detailed with a garland pattern and the Hotel Oakland shield in the middle top of the tray. In the center is an illustration/drawing of the exterior of the actual Hotel Oakland.
(D.Curry, 2/10/05) Curator Inez Brooks-Myers thinks this artifact could also have been unsed as a pin tray or a tray for collecting calling cards.
