Vase used on dining room table at the Hotel Oakland. The vase is white china with a gold trim around the lip and a shield with "Hotel Oakland" printed in the center. Exactly the same as 2000.147.7 except the markers mark is rubbed off on this item. (D. Curry, 2/10/05) Curator Inez Brooks-Myers also believes this artifact may be a toothpick holder.
