This is a photograph of a smiling Frank Robinson holding his Most Valuable Player Award in his hands. Robinson is wearing his Orioles uniform and hat. The photo of Robinson is from the Orioles logo of his Jersey on up. The Kenesaw Mountain Landis Memorial Baseball Award was given to Robinson for his outstanding 1966 season with the Baltimore Orioles. The caption on the side of the photo reads: (BA1) Baltimore, MD., April 29--An MVP First--Outfielder Frank Robinson of the Baltimore Orioles, the American Leagues's Most Valuable Player in 1966, was presented last night with a plaque symbolic of the award. League President Joe Cronin presented the Kenesaw Mountain Landis award, named for the late baseball commissioner.
