The Kenesaw Mountain Landis Memorial Baseball Award was given to Robinson for his outstanding 1966 season with the Baltimore Orioles. The caption on the side of the photo reads: (BA1) Baltimore, MD., April 29--An MVP First--Outfielder Frank Robinson of the Baltimore Orioles, the American Leagues's Most Valuable Player in 1966, was presented last night with a plaque symbolic of the award. League President Joe Cronin presented the Kenesaw Mountain Landis award, named for the late baseball commissioner.
