Second advertisement poster from the Agricultural Promotional Campaign of 1929-1930 for Alameda County. The catch phrase for the poster is "Small Acreage Yields Comfortable Income Here... beside the Golden Gate." The poster advertises Alameda County, and especially Oakland's, wonderful climate that enables year-round farming and the face that Oakland has a wonderful transportation system enabling easy access to shipping product to market. Statistics for crops, average temperature and rainfall are also given. The ad was placed is newspapers across the country by the Alameda County Board of Supervisors. The donor's father was the graphic designer for the posters, E. Adams.
