Photo depicts: A young man is dancing in the middle of a crosswalk. His arms are spread, his fingers hold a cigarette and his left leg is lifted. Traffic backs up a block in front of him. Two frustrated women sit in the car stopped directly in front of him. Along the sidewalk are signs for United California Bank, liquor, optometrist and 7-up. Photo caption reads "It was just a nornmal Sunday yesterday in the Haight-Ashbury, where a bearded, barefoot 'panhandler' sat in an upstairs window fishing for coins with a milk carton, while another of the children staged an exuberant 'love dance' in a crosswalk to the delight of motor sight-seers. In Golden Gate Park some displayed art works and hundreds more were just grooving."
