The black leather cover has gold-leaf type on the front that reads "University High School." When opened, the cover has a blue silk lining, and on the bottom there is a yellow ribbon that holds the diploma. The diploma was awarded to Eleanor Todd of Oakland.
Eleanor Todd was the daughter of Harry P. Tood and Jeanie Griffith Todd- owner of Dariglen Creameries and important Oakland Business woman.
