This crazy quilt top is unusual in that the individual blocks are set apart with sashing. In many instances the sashing has been embroidered in a way that almost disguises it. There are pieced fans at each corner, with a halo or arc of daisy-like flowers around them; the color skemes on the two adjoining sides match. The fans are black and brown silk, two have white daisies with yellow centers, the other two fans have yellow daisies with black centers.
