(3.17 cm WIDE x 1.27 cm DEEP)
Gift of Ms. Laurel Nelson Maloney

This teaspoon is marked with Lion passant, an anchor and a letter of the alphabet(probably "G"), before the word "Sterling," it's probably of Gorham Corporation manufacture. It was given by the donor's great aunt, Margaret Nelson Olson, to her brother, James Walker Nelson, of Vancouver, Canada, prior to 1920. The handle has a dainty floral pattern, three flowers across the top, three flowers across the middle, and some smaller flowers along the side. The bowl of the spoon is etched with an oak tree and the words "Oakland, Cal."
