The undated Tribune photo has the following caption on the back: "HANGAR-LINE CHANGING FAST This [touched up] photograph from a plane landing at the Oakland Municipal Airport shows how the airport's rapidly changing hangar line looks. Arrows [added] point to hangars 1,2,3, and. In the foreground the artist has sketched in the new airport hotel, construction of which will start soon." the view shows, from front to rear, the sketch of the hotel, the administration building, and hangars 1-4. Aircraft are at the left of the line of buildings, and passengers [?] are moving parallel to the hangars. Automobiles are parked at right. A wooden derrick/pump [?] is at the upper right corner.
