Recipe booklet is white paper, printed in black. It is 96 pages long, with recipes from all categories, menus, and general hints on how to prepare for various social occasions. The recipes are indexed at the beginning. At the outside of each page which features a recipe there is a column of cartoon depictions of actions described in the adjacent recipe. Style of illustration in cartoons is appropriate to the period (Art Deco). Cover is made to look like flowered gingham tablecloth fabric, green and white.
