Jean-cut trousers are burgundy color cotton/polyester blend 'un-born' corduroy (the corduroy wales are undefined). Trousers are slightly flare-legged, and feature four patch pockets with pointed lower edges, one over each hip at front and back. Trousers have no separate waistband, but do feature a jeans-style yoke which dips in the back at center. Seven belt loops are all wide enough to accomodate a two-inch-wide belt. Trousers have a zippered-fly center front opening, with a hook and eye closure at top. Trousers were worn by Rafael Jess Gonzlez, who participated in many anti-war activities in and around the San Francisco Bay Area during the Vietnam War. He wore these trousers, with belt 2003.6.2, during 1968-1975, to lectures, parties, and various events. The trousers and belt were always worn on Noche de Reyes (Twelfth Night), a family/extended family ritual.
