This is one in a series of 12 textiles by Dorothe Gould Pratt given to the Oakland Museum of California. Much of her textile work was done in and/or inspired by time she lived in Turkey. Long, narrow pice of white fabric, printed in black, band of three borders at either end, and a single border along the edges. The field is decorated with crosses in circles, with animals arranged around the circles and flowers above the animals.
