Parade photo taken from roof of building looking down onto street of marchers. Superimposed arrow in upper right of photo. Story pasted on back and folded forward so it covers half of photo in front: "ASSOCIATED PRESS PHOTO Please use credit FROM SAN FRANCISCO MOONEY ALIBI PHOTOGRAPH This is the photogrlaph offered by the Mooney defense to show Tom Mooney could not have placed the bomb which killed 10 and injured 40 in the 1916 San Francisco Preparedness Day Parade. Enlarged, it shows Mooney and his wife, Rena, on the roff (sp) of a Market Street building watching the parade while the hands of a street clock point to a few minutes before the bombing, of which Mooney was convicted. Associated Press Photo PREPAREDNESS PICTURES: FOR USE WITH MOONEY CASE DEVELOPMENTS -- dr (FX list NY 2 CX 2) 9 8/29/35" In the center of the photo, several blocks of Market Street, a parade of many formations of people are marching. The groups (who appears to be prodominately made up of men) are in rectangular groups and an attempt has been made to have even space within the formations as well as between the groups. The group at the bottom of the photo has an American flag within it. On the left side of the photo covering the sidewalk are crowds of people watching the parade. Behind the people are many buildings. The first one on the left is 7 stories with a arc/circular front and may have a person on its roof. Next to it is a flat-faced slightly shorter building with a billboard on its roof. The structural back of the billboard is visible. Next to this building are 3 or 4 shorter buildings whose roofs are visible. Across the street is a tall building that appears to front on a side street with many rectangular windows. The buildings beyond vary in height. In the upper right of the photo are the top stories of buildings and/or their roofs. An arrow has been superimposed at one speck. Several large letters of what could be a billboard, advertisement or building name are backwards on a roof. On the roof edges in front of the photographer several people are leaning over and watching the parade. There is a design on the roof edge from which the photo was taken of single bricks alternating with inserts of somethin light in color -- concrete?
