The head is prodominently white. The square open mouth shows four canine teethn and the teeth around the lower and upper jaw are show in some detail. Below the lower teeth is a dark edge and below that is a white edge. The upper teeth also have a dark then white edge. A light colored textured nose has two nostrils painted in a dark color. There is painted decoration between the upper lip and nose. The white eyes are wide open with dark pupils and dark outline. The eyebrows are three circular decorations extending out from above the eye. The center top of the head is in dark colors. The mane and beard are long, shaggy and of a light color. The head is held up by someone wearing dark pants with wavy horizontal decorations and shaggy boots. The body of the dragon extends back from the head and appears to have at least one other person as part of the costume. Behind the dragon is a largely undistinguishable crowd watching the goings on. Behind the crowd on the left of the photo is a tall tree and multistory building with a billboard on top. Just behind the dragon is the statute on a tall slender column that is a part of Union Square. Below and to the right of the statute are more multistored buildings, one having a Pan Am sign on it.
