White paper, typed letter from Jack Irwin in Bolinas, to Bert Lane in Goleta, dated July 31, 1969. Irwin talks about staying at his son's home in San Jose, thereby missing a visit from Bert and Myra Lane. Also mentions that he fell and hurt his hip. Referring to the Meteorplane, but not calling it by name, he says that he needs spark plugs and plans to get some old ones from Harrah's (he spelled it Harra's) in Reno. He thanks Bert for his help "past favors" and mentions that he and Ethel have a telephone -868-1346.
