I. Magnin & Co.

White floral band, made on an arc of white net, fitted to the head with three small, clear plastic combs. The flowers and leaves stand away from the band at least and inch and a half, cascading down either side more than four inches below the band. Inside is a narrow "I. Magnin & Co." label. This head piece was worn by Peggy Chinn when she became the bride of James Takahashi in Oakland on August 22, 1970. Veiling, was added to create the entire bridal headdress; a series of male snaps are along one edge of the band. (The veiling would have snapped on and/or off.)
