From "Miller, Ann Actress Is Mrs. Reese L. Milner" folder. From 1979 caption on back of photograph: "Ann Miller as dancer in 1950s movie." From caption on front of photograph: "(Advance for PMS of Saturday May 30 with Bob Thomas Hollywood Column) (LA2) Hollywood, May 29 - Hot Dancing - Three dimensional movies may be a boon to the box office, says Dancing Ann Miller (above), but they make a dancer's work a lot tougher. Extra lights required for the 3-D films run the stage temperature as high as 120 degrees, the light-footed actress declares. Extra candlepower is necessitated by the camera's wider range and the need for extra-brightness to make up for the light lost by viewing the picture through tinted glasses." Photograph of Ann Miller being filmed. She wears a short, gleaming dress and is shielding her eyes to protect them from the bright lights of the 3-D cameras.
