Eames two piece coffee table commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Eames House December 24th, 1949 - December 4, 1999. Table is in two pieces. Base (A) is made of wood (birch) with a clear lacquer finish. Legs are bulbous with gray plastic bumpers at feet and are attached to top and each other via crisscrossing brass rods, brass brackets and brass nuts and bolts. Top of base has nine affixed rubber bumpers upon with the table top (B) rests. Table top (B) is solid brass with rounded corners. Top side has been decorated with staggered squares of gold leaf and has a clear finish.

Metal braces on legs are related to design of Eames "Architectural Legs" on some of his earlier chairs. Part of Herman Miller Consortium.
