DICK MARQUIS (folded piece of paper found--and since discarded--inside pot); "Richard Marquis" (white sticker on bottom); "33 Dick / Marquis" (orange sticker)

Earthenware teapot with lid. Beneath clear glaze, pot is painted with a desert road scene. On one side (spout to left) is a black asphalt road in center, a cactus to the right and a billboard to the left that says, "Dick's / RENT-A-DOG / Bumblebee, Ariz." Other side (spout to right) shows the same road with a green car driving toward viewer, and a cactus to the right. Lid is painted sky blue and has two clouds circling the handle. Handle is to one side with spout to other. Spout has 9 holes on interior for straining tea leaves.
