2008.6.1.78 and .79 found in an acidic paper sleeve labeled in ink with cursive script, "Viga Canal Mexico 1908."





Black and white film negative includes an image of Viga Canal in Mexico. Water fills the lower half of the composition with the canal receding into the distance at center. Trees grow along the bank at right and left and are reflected in the water below. Several figures steer flat bottom boats in the distance at center.
