Image of an African American woman sitting in a chair at a desk, from a side angle. She has a chain from her nostril to her earlobe. Additionally, she is wearing a lot of jewelry, including many bracelets and bangles on her wrist, multiple rings, beads around her neck. Her clothing consists of a plain bodice and a patterned flowing jacket and skirt. On the wall behind her are framed images, awards, informational printouts, a cork bulletin board, and two posters, one of Duke Ellington and the other of Malcolm X. On verso is the stamp, "Tribune Photo By," with the handwritten addition, "Amy Douglas," followed by the date stamp, "Aug 7 1992." In handwriting it merely notes the name of the subject, "Tina Neal."
