In-close, bust portrait of Tina Neal in her office setting. She is sitting on a couch, with the office in the background; the viewer is behind her, and she is looking back over her shoulder at the viewer, smiling. She is a middle-age African-American woman, with long, tight braids, and a distinctive nose-to-ear jewelry chain that drapes down along her lower cheek, from her (proper) left nostril to her (proper) left ear. She is wearing a geometrically patterned smock-type, long-sleave garment. The office in the background is furnished with metal desks, a water cooler, and framed art on the wall. At both desks in the background are African-American women. On verso is the photographer's stamp, "Tribune Photo by," and handwritten is the name, "Amy Douglas," followed by a date stamp, Aug 7, 1992. Above that is the handwitten description, in black ball point pen, "Tina Neal Admin. Assit for East Oakland fighting Back project - Also a coordinator for 50 Black women".
