This is an etching after Camille Pissarro's painting, "The C�te des Boeufs at L'Hermitage, near Pointoise" (1877). The print reimagines Possarro's composition as a figurative landscape. Shaded areas in primary colors appear behind a grid of vertical black lines and curvilinear shapes.

"The shimmering light and tranquil calm of Pissarro's landscapes evoke a time and place so different from the mad pace of our modern world. My translation is an attempt to incorporate this positive feeling into contemporary imagery, and pay homage to the masterful composition and mood of the original work." / Jean Burg
