Duck Decoy, made by Nothern Paiute artist Mike Williams, based on traditional Modoc and Northern Paiute hunting technology and strategy. The prototype for this object were ancient tule decoys found archaeologically at Lovelock Cave in Nevada. Materials are tule, duck feathers, red ochre paint, carbon paint and native twine.
