Micaëla Gallery, San Francisco, "Larry Keenan," September 6 - 30, 2006.

This is a black and white photograph of a group of people riding a motorcycle through a field of flowers. A man sits on the seat of the motorcycle and steers, while a young girl sits in front of him and a young boy stands on the seat behind him. Another adult, who is not wearing clothing, is partially visible on the back of the motorcycle behind the young boy. Several people are visible standing in the field watching the scene from a distance, and a residential street with cars and houses appears in the background.

Micaëla Gallery printout:"FREEWHEELING / Los Altos Hills 1969 / In the hills, I was shooting a session with some medical students from Stanford and the Sexual Freedom League illustrating a Ken Kesey project. The basic premises was that the doctors spend all their time at school and in hospitals and are not exposed to the free life in the real world. Kesey felt that they were losing their sensitivity. The people on the bike were going for it."
