This is a rubber rib used by Viola Frey when working with clay. The tool is oblong and made from hard black rubber with one flat and one slightly convex side. "KEMPER TOOLS / MADE IN U.S.A." appears on the convex side at center. Clay accretions are visible over the tool's surface.
