Top of poster has a black, red and white image fo a flower blooming up through a street, knowcking over signs and power lines. Out of the flower, a fist emerges. At the bottom of the poster is "let a thousand parks bloom..." in red.

This newspaper broadside recycles a phrase from China’s 1956 “Hundred Flowers Campaign” and refers to the community struggle over People’s Park in Berkeley.
