Allan “Gut” Terk (1939-2018) was a biker in the Hell Bent for Glory Motorcycle Club and later rode with the Hells Angels, where he met novelist Ken Kesey. He became a prolific artist of the counterculture, painting the Merry Pranksters’ day-glo bus and creating designs for the Grateful Dead and the Jefferson Airplane.
