One lounge chair from a six-piece set of Van Keppel-Green patio furniture. Lounge chair has a steel frame with light grey cord wrapped around the frame. The cord serves as the seat bottom and back. The chair has a large seat that slopes in a gentle curve to the seat back.

This set of furniture are iconic pieces of patio furniture from the mid-twentieth century. Van Keppel- Green furniture was frequently freatured in the Case Study Houses sponsored by Arts and Architecture magazine, as well as the California Design exhibitions. This patio furniture was used in the movie Giant, starring James Dean.
