This is an oil painting on canvas. The entire surface is painted matte purple and the overall shape is rectangular with rounded top corners. Wooden molding frames the edge on the top and most of the right and left sides, but does not continue on the lower side edges or bottom edge. The canvas is wider on the bottom where the molding ends, so that the overall width remains the same. The outer part of the wood molding has a natural finish, but the interior is painted the same purple as the canvas.
