Baluster vase with straight-sided collar neck; flat flanged lip. White earthenware body, cast. Allover stylized design of trefoil leaves, smaller leaves, scroll stems, glazed green; large blossoms and buds glazed rose; clusters of three blossoms glazed lavender, all against a blue glazed ground. Design inspired by William Morris wallpapers.
Made at the studio of Arequipa Pottery, Fairfax, California. Probably attributed to Frederick Hurten Rhead.
