Museum Purchase

Bow, sinew back; quiver; 4 arrows. Bow with painted designs; fox skin quiver; arrows with wood points "Bows and arrows collected from the Pomo are nearly non-existant in museum collections. This is probably the only set from Cache Creek, and one of only a half dozen or so sets from the Pomo extant. Arrow with wooden point, fletched with 3 half goose? feathers, native red pigment under fletching and shaft possibly mock orange." (Craig Bates, 7/91)
