The map shows the Alameda Valley Homestead Association Tract northeast of Fruit Vale Ave. and bounded on the east by what wouuld be an extension of High St. The northern boundary of the tract appears to be the Arroyo Palo Seco. The Brooklyn Park Homestead is shown to be south and east of the Alameda Valley Homestead Association Tract. There is no listing for this area in the "Tract List" compiled by Quentin. The map also shows Encinal Oaks (Alameda), the cities of Oakland (in its 1853 configuration) and Brooklyn, the San Antonio Creek, and the Bay of San Leandro.
