History: Probably made in California.

The kitchen table was a fundamental piece of furniture in the pioneer household. It was used constantly for cooking, eating, reading, folding laundry, and other activities. Kitchen tables were so indispensable that families often carried them on the journey to California, or else bought them from local carpenters as soon as they set up housekeeping.
