Pair of shoes. Description: Women's bottines sewn by machine. They are ankle high, have a seam from the toe to the ankle, and lace on the inner ankle from the sole to the ankle. Twenty-two eyelets are used for the lacing, and they are worked in gray-green thread. The open edges of the laced area and ankle are bound in gray-green binding tape, as is the tongue behind the laced portion. The flat soles, which are differentiated by right and left, are of leather. They are dark brown along the eges, and the heel sections are slightly thicker than the rest. Each sole has a small hole at the toe and heel, and two holes at the arch of the sole. Also at the instep is an imprinted "6". The exterior fabric is gray-green iridescent fabric which is probably wool and silk type, while the interior is all off-white linen. The heels are stiffened. The shoes have been worn, since the soles are dirty, and the uppers are stained. a.) Right shoe - Gray-green shiny fabric lace with gold colored metal end.
